Whether it’s business or personal, life is all about being driven. That is driven by PURPOSE, to achieve a MOONSHOT Vision!
It’s not good enough to just go through the motions. You leave yourself exposed and to chance, I’m not one to leave things to chance.
Having a moonshot vision will keep you motivated when things are tough. Business is a rollercoaster at the best of times, we’ve seen that over the last 18 months. If you don’t have a bold moonshot vision, what do you turn to to keep you going?
The most successful entrepreneurs out there always talk about persistence as one of the key ingredients for success. You will face so many challenges along your journey, they will test you and your resolve. I know this all too well, I set up my 1st business not long before the crash of 2008.
As tough as it was, it was the period of deepest learning throughout all of my career! In fact, I wouldn’t have the skillset to do what I do today only for that.
I learned the value of having a moonshot vision and it has never been so important as it is today. Please don’t mistake having a moonshot vision as the same as a 5-year plan.
I’m not a fan of building 5-year plans, never have been. Things change too much for that, however, you need a NORTHSTAR as a guide.
That vision will evolve! So what your idea of your moonshot vision today will not be the same in 1, 2, or 3 years.

What I am a big fan of is building milestones along that journey, when you achieve your 1st you assess. We will talk more about that again.
Always have a purpose, never compromise on that! That is achieved through building a BOLD MOONSHOT Vision. There is no 1 size fits all approach to building visions.. Create a formula that involves both internal and external components. Build it with your TEAMS, bring them along the journey so they succeed and the same goes for your customers.
I have created a tried and tested formula that I’ve tweaked and tweaked over the years.
Did it start out amazing❓
NO
But you have to start in order to get it right! By constantly iterating (and still doing) it evolved into a formula.This is what you need to achieve for your business!
